Meet The Wildcats Night Nov. 5

ABILENE – The ACU basketball teams will hold “Meet The Wildcats” on Thursday November 5, starting at 9 p.m. inside Moody Coliseum. Admission to the event is free.
Activities will start following the Wildcats home volleyball match with Texas A&M-Kingsville. Fans will be able to meet both players from the Wildcat men and women’s teams including Head Coaches Jason Copeland and Shawna Lavender. During this time fans will also have the opportunity to take pictures with and get autographs from the ACU players.
Throughout the night there will also be a number of prizes handed out as well as a chance for one student to win a book scholarship for a semester. Fans will also get to see the Wildcats in action as they host a slam-dunk contest and a three-point shootout.
It will be the first chance for fans to see the men’s teams before they open the season at home against Baptist Bible College on November 17.
The women’s basketball team will be in action Friday October 30 in exhibition action against Lubbock Christian. They open the regular season November 16 at home against St. Mary’s University.
