ABILENE -- ACU senior Michelle Bacon and junior Shawna Hines were each voted to the ESPN The Magazine academic all-District VI volleyball team, which was announced Thursday.

Bacon, a native of Arlington, was voted second team all-district. Hines, a native of Aurora, Colo., was voted third team academic all-district.

Bacon carries a 3.89 grade point average while majoring in nutrition, while Hines carries a 3.85 grade point average while majoring in business management.
