UCO Runs past ACU, 93-69

ABILENE – The ACU men dropped their sixth straight to Central Oklahoma 93-69 Saturday afternoon inside Moody Coliseum.  It was ACU's third consecutive loss as they fall to 4-5 on the season and UCO improves to 5-4.

Central Oklahoma led by as many as 29 in the second half where they did not trail in the period.  The Wildcats were held to 25% from the field as Marcus Washington made his first start leading the way with 14 points. 

ACU pulled within nine with 17:19 left in the game on an Eddie Thompson three pointer, but UCO answered back as Eric Cazenave hit his only three of the night to finish with nine points.  From there UCO continued to pad their lead led by Dauntae Williams who had a game high 20 points. 

Dosh Simms added 12 points off the bench for the Wildcats who committed a season high 29 turnovers.

Also in double figures for the Wildcats were Dustin Heiman and Thompson who added 10 each.

ACU makes a quick turnaround as they host Northeastern on Monday night before the holiday break.
