Two Wildcats named all-region

ABILENE – ACU junior forward Lyndsey Womack and freshman midfielder Julie Coppedge have been voted second team NCAA Division II all-South Central Region by the National Soccer Coaches' Association of America.
Womack was a first team all-Lone Star Conference performer in 2009 after scoring five goals and posting seven total points, tying Wilson for the team lead in both categories. Womack scored her five goals on just 14 shots on goal.
Coppedge was one of the top freshmen in the LSC in 2009, finishing with four goals – all game-winners – and four points on 23 shots.
