Meyer Named LSC South Player of the Week

Jamie Meyer broke the 1,000 point mark for her career
RICHARDSON – Senior Jamie Meyer was voted Lone Star Conference South Division Player of the Week as announced by the league office Monday.
Meyer who recently surpassed 1,000 points for her career is averaging 21.1 points per game, which ranks sixth in the country. In two games last week she scored 20 in a 91-87 win over #25 Southeastern Oklahoma. She also recorded her fourth double-double of the season pushing the Wildcats to a 72-65 win over East Central in LSC crossover play.
Meyer and the Wildcats return to action this week as they being LSC South Division play in Portales, New Mexico. Tipoff at Eastern New Mexico is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on 1470 AM and on acusports.com.
