ABILENE – Three ACU seniors who have excelled on and off the court have been named to the CoSIDA ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District team as selected by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America. Jamie Meyer, Jody Meyer were tabbed as members of Academic All-District 6 First Team as Kat Kundmueller was named Academic All-District 6 Second Team.

Jamie and Jody Meyer have enjoyed an outstanding senior season so far as both are ranked nationally in points per game and rebounds per game. Jamie is currently No. 13 in NCAA DII averaging 20.1 points per game while Jody is No. 12 averaging 10.9 rebounds per game.

Jamie has led the Wildcats in scoring in 13 games this season while leading the ACU in three point percentage and free throw percentage. She also leads the Lone Star Conference in scoring and was named Player of the Week during the week of January 11.

Jody is the Wildcats leader in rebounds as she also leads the LSC in rebounding also. She has enjoyed 13 double-doubles on the season including coming two rebounds shy of a school record as she grabbed 25 boards against Southwestern Oklahoma on December 5.

 Kundmueller who is second in NCAA DII averaging 7.2 assists per game which is also tops in the LSC. She has led the Wildcats in assists in every game this season and set a career high for points with 18 against UT-Permian Basin on November 24.
