DURANT, OK – After being swept the Wildcats take a break from conference play traveling to the Lone Star Conference Crossover. ACU will take on six LSC North Division foes in two games each day starting on Friday and finishing on Sunday.
The Wildcats will travel to Durant, Oklahoma after last year's tournament was cancelled due to wet playing conditions at the Sports Complex in Durant. Struggling at the Crossover Tournament in 2008 the Wildcats will look to reverse their fortune after finishing 2-5.
On Friday to open the tournament ACU will lead-off with Southeastern Oklahoma whom they lost to in San Antonio to at the St. Mary's Classic. Ending day one the Wildcats will play Cameron another team they have seen four times splitting at the CBS Classic in Abilene before the Aggies swept ACU in Lawton.
To start Saturday the Wildcats will again play the first game of the day at 10:30 a.m. as they take on East Central. ACU also fell to the Tigers at the St. Mary's Classic, 1-0; however, Shelby Hall was one pitch away from a perfect game allowing only one hit, a homerun. At 2:30 p.m. ACU will take on Central Oklahoma for the first time this season.
On Sunday the Wildcats will take on Northeastern State to start the day at noon and finish with Midwestern State. ACU dropped the season series with MSU splitting a doubleheader at home before losing a doubleheader in Wichita Falls. First pitch against Midwestern is scheduled for 2 p.m.
