Barrow Named to LSC All-Tournament Team

DURANT, Okla. - Junior Shawna Barrow was honored Monday by the Lone Star Conference for her play over the three-day weekend at the LSC Crossover Tournament in Durant Oklahoma. Barrow helped ACU to three wins over Southeastern Oklahoma, East Central, and Northeastern for her play at second base.
Barrow is a junior criminal justice major from San Diego, California, in her first season with the Wildcats. Over the weekend Barrow hit an even .500 scoring nine runs and seven RBIs. She added 12 total bases as she also had a slugging percentage of .500 while she was nearly perfect stealing 9-of-10 bases.
Barrow has already broken the ACU season record for stolen bases in a season with 28 at the half way mark of the season. Barrow currently leads the team with 27 runs scored while her .372 batting average and 18 RBIs rank second for the Wildcats.
ACU returns to action on Wednesday for a mid-week matchup with Texas A&M-International. First pitch at Wells Field is scheduled for 3 p.m.
