WARRENSBURG, Mo. -- All of Sunday's games in the NCAA Division II South Central Region baseball championship have been rained out for the second straight day.
Games are schedules to resume Monday with the two unbeaten squads left in the tournemt -- Incarnate Word and Central Missouri -- scheduled to play at 3:30 p.m. ACU and St. Mary's will then play an elimination game at 6:30 p.m. The winner of that game will then play the loser of the UIW-UCM game in a 9:30 p.m. elimination game.
ACU games will be broadcast on KSLI 1280 AM.
If games go to Tuesday, the first championship game would be played at noon, followed immediately by the if-necessary championship game.
Right now, if no other games are played in the tournament, Central Missouri would gain the right to go to the NCAA Division II Championship Tournament because it is the highest seed remaining in the field. After game six of the tournament is complete and no other games are able to be played, the NCAA sends the highest remaining seed in the field to the championship tournament as the regional winner.
