Cameron blasts Angelo, 17-7

ABILENE -- Cameron hammered out seven home runs among its 25 hits Sunday evening as the Aggies whipped Angelo State, 17-7, in a winner's bracket game of the Lone Star Conference Post-Season Baseball Championship at Crutcher Scott Field.
The win pushes the Aggies (28-18) into the winner's bracket game Monday at 11 a.m. against 11th-ranked ACU. The Rams (32-25) will play a loser's bracket game at 3 p.m. Monday against Tarleton State.
Blake Watson homered twice and drove in six runs for the Aggies, while Tom Dicker homered twice and drove in four runs. Codi Harshman, Alex Lyson and Tyler Berg also homered for the Aggies, who led 17-1 going to the eighth before giving up six runs to the Rams in the final two innings.
Jerry A'Hearn went 7 2/3 innings, scattering eight hits and giving up four runs while allowing four walks and striking out three batters as he picked up the win to improve to 4-2.
