Wildcats 20th in final poll

NEW YORK – The ACU Wildcats were ranked No. 20 in the country in the final Golf World / Nike Golf NCAA Division II Coaches' poll of the season, which was released earlier this week.

The Wildcats earned 67 points in the fifth and final poll of the season to finish in the No. 20 spot. Barry University, which finished fifth at the NCAA Division II national tournament earlier this month, finished the regular season as the top-ranked team in the country.

National champion Florida Southern was No. 2 in the coaches' poll, followed by Lynn (Fla.), Chico State (Calif.) at No. 4 and Nova Southeastern at No. 5. Lynn finished ninth in the national tournament, while Chico State was third and Nova Southeastern was sixth.
