ACU to host open tryout

ABILENE -- The ACU softball team will host a tryout for prospective walk-on players on Saturday, June 5, at Wells Field on the ACU campus. The tryout is open to students currently enrolled at ACU, junior college transfers and high school seniors.
The tryout will begin at 1 p.m. with the check-in process beginning at 12:30 p.m. For further information, contact Casey Wilson at casey.wilson@acu.edu or 325-674-2735. In order to participate in the tryout, players must bring proof of a medical physical done within the past six months. All participants will also need to complete a signed copy of the ACU Prospective Student Tryout Waiver Form as well as a signed copy of the Assumption of Risk, Release and Indemnification Agreement.
