ACU Softball Ranked No. 5 In Latest South Central Regional Poll

ABILENE –  The Abilene Christian Wildcats on Wednesday slipped one spot to No. 5 in the season's second NCAA Division II South Central Region softball poll.

Missouri Western State leapfrogged the Wildcats into fourth place.

The Rambelles defeated the Wildcats Tuesday night at ASU's Softball Complex, 7-3, to win the season series, two games to one. Earlier in the week ACU split a doubleheader with ASU at home before taking two of three over the weekend from Eastern New Mexico.
