Rain Postpones Conclusion Of ACU and Northern Kentucky NCAA Tennis Match

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The NCAA Championship match between No. 11 Abilene Christian and No. 31 Northern Kentucky at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park has been postponed to Thursday morning due to rain.
The Wildcats lead their Round of 16 dual vs. the Norse, 3-0, but currently trail in four of six singles matches.
ACU, which needs to win two more matches to advance into the quarterfinals against No. 3 Lynn University, leads at No. 1 singles where No. 6 Hans Hach is up 7-5, 4-1 on Martin Leroy, and at No. 4 singles where Alfredo Desiati is ahead of Andre Correa, 6-4, 3-2.
Hach scored ACU's first point with doubles partner Nick Plum after they doubled up NKU's top-line team of Tyler Fraser and Pierce Kohls, 8-4.
Michael Morris and Guilherme Gesser finished second with an 8-6 decision at No. 3 vs. Guillaume Berman and Drew Schroeder.
Desiati and Borja Cortes completed the doubles sweep with a 9-7 win at No. 2 against Leroy and Correa.
