Wear White, Support Make-A-Wish Foundation At Saturday's Football Game

– ACU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) has designated Saturday's football showdown vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville as its Make-A-Wish Game and is encouraging all Wildcat fans to wear white and bring donations that will directly benefit the premier wish-granting organization for children.
 
SAAC members and Abilene-based Make-A-Wish volunteers will be collecting cash donations throughout the game, and at halftime, nine-year old foundation recipient Rex Fleming will be recognized during an on-field check presentation.
 
ACU student-athletes have raised over $15,000 since 2010 in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
 
Fans unable to donate Saturday are invited to make an online contribution or mail a check to:

Saturday's kick off is set for 6 p.m. at Shotwell Stadium.
 
Additional Ticket Discounts For The Sept. 8 Game
• Anyone showing a West Texas Fair and Rodeo ticket at the Shotwell Stadium ticket booth will receive $4 off the price of one adult ticket.
 
• Parents of area Girl Scouts who will be on the field for the playing of The Star-Spangled Banner also will receive a $4 discount on their adult tickets.
