Hach Wins Two Matches In ACU’s 6-1 Loss At Austin Peay

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The 11th-ranked Abilene Christian men's tennis team lost its third-straight road match Saturday after falling 6-1 to NCAA D-I Austin Peay to finish their five-match road trip at 2-3.
 
The victory was Austin Peay's first of the year as it improved to 1-2.
 
Senior and nationally second-ranked D-II player Hans Hach earned the Wildcats' lone point following his three-set win at No. 1 singles vs. Sean Bailey, 6-2, 2-6, 6-3. He also won at No. 1 singles with partner Jason Proctor over Bailey and Jasmin Ademovic, 8-6. Unfortunately, ACU lost its other two doubles matches by an 8-1 margin and its five other singles matches in straight sets.
 
The Wildcats return to action next Saturday, Feb. 16 with a home doubleheader vs. Hardin-Simmons and Western New Mexico.
