2009 (Junior): Played in all 13 games for 9-4 NCAA playoff team. Ranked sixth on team with 46 total tackles, including 22 solo. Also had 7 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 4 pass breakups and 5 QB hurries. Had interception vs. Tarleton State and fumble recovery vs. Texas A&M-Commerce in the Cotton Bowl.

2005-06 (Tyler JC): As a sophomore at Tyler, Lane was voted honorable mention all-Southwest Junior College Football Conference.

High school: Voted all-Greater Houston and was the district’s defensive MVP as a senior.
