2010 (Junior): Started all 12 games for nationally-ranked Wildcats who repeated trip to playoffs after winning LSC title and recording first 11-0 regular season in team history. Second team all-conference.

2009 (Sophomore): Played in all 13 games for 9-4 Wildcat team that repeated trip to NCAA Division II playoffs.

2008 (Freshman): Valuable backup for the Wildcats who played at both tackle spots. Tivis played in 11 games for the Wildcats, helping ACU field the top offensive unit in NCAA Division II football.

2007 (Freshman): Redshirt.

High school: As a defensive lineman in 2006, Tivis recorded 48 tackles (8 for loss), 7 sacks and 1 pass breakup. He was a first team all-district 8-3A offensive tackle and defensive end. He was also a first team all-area selection and a Class 3A honorable mention all-state pick.
