Claire (Ferrell) Rawlins has served as ACU's Executive Associate AD / Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) since June 2025. She oversees academics, compliance, and the overall success of ACU student-athletes.
She held the title of Assistant Athletic Director for Academics & Student-Athlete Development from July 2024 until her promotion. Rawlins also served as the chair of the university's Student-Athlete Advisory Committe (SAAC).
Rawlins started at ACU in October 2022 as an academic and student-athlete development coordinator for the baseball, cross county, and track and field programs.
Prior to coming to ACU, Ferrell coached women’s lacrosse for two years at the University of Findlay and coached an inaugural team at Findlay High School while completing her master’s and serving as a teaching assistant at Bowling Green University.
She also worked at Findlay in gameday operations and athlete development programming, and has spent the past six years implementing and teaching mental skills for improved sports performance.
Rawlins graduated with a bachelor of science degree in psychology and health studies from Findlay, where she was a standout women's lacrosse player. Rawlins earned All-Midwest Region and All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference honors. She was also named the 2019 GMAC Goalie of the Year.
Rawlins earned her master’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in sports psychology from Bowling Green in 2022.
